Those Handsome Hooligans

We had a blast on Saturday (July 17) playing our first bar gig in 72 weeks! Thanks so much to Douglas Willitts and his staff at The Lloyd House Restaurant & Pub for creating such an amazing space and keeping everyone fed and hydrated! Thanks to everyone that came out to fill every table and enjoy some degree of normalcy too… 

Shout-out to Al Forte from The Royal Pains for jumping up and playing a few songs - it was great to see you back behind a drum set! It was also great to share the stage with Jack Hammond, a Virtual Whiskey & Strings alumni, who blew everyone away with his insane harmonica skills! 

A great night was had by all and we’re looking forward to returning to Mount Albert very soon. Watch this space for more details…!

After what seems like an eternity, we're back! As things are slowly opening up again we are very happy to announce our first official gig in over a year and a half. We're headed to Mount Albert this Saturday (July 17th) to play on the patio at the Lloyd House. They have a great atmosphere with incredible food. We'll be playing from 6-9pm and we don't plan on taking it easy. We're all rested up and plan to unleash the rock. Come and party with us. Let's go!

Donaleigh's never disappoints! The staff and management were on point as usual and the crowd was on fire! We let loose two new songs, played some old faves and rocked the night away. There was birthdays, anniversaries, girl's nights, boy's nights and many friends both old and new.  Big thanks to everyone that showed up to party and as always, a HUGE thanks to Steve for being a master behind the sound board. What can we say about the OVFH that hasn't already been said. Every time we play there we have an amazing time. We had our new banner on display that pretty much took up the full stage, and blocked out the sun while setting up. :) The crowd was great and the staff took care of us and everyone else as they always do. Shout out to friends old and new for being there. We back on August 2nd. Come rock with us.

We had a great show this past weekend at Lake Simcoe Arms. Locals know about this gem already but if you're spending any of your summer weekends up there, this a a great pub to visit - the staff is amazing and the food is great, you won't be disappointed! Shout out to all our friends who came by to see us and to Erin Blackstock for dropping in for a couple of songs too!

What a way to end a work week!  What makes the OV so great? A huge crowd that never disappoints!  Last night was wall to wall fun and at the center of it all was Andy Coll’s birthday celebration - Happy Birthday Andy - you rock!! The food was amazing, the drinks were flowing and wow did people ever come out to party!  Thanks to all the staff at the OV and to all the guests for making last night such incredible fun! What an amazing crowd - we had guest singers, Brooklyn from Brooklyn and the Cause for Alarm and Harrison from Rubber Tire Peep Show and best of all we had mad crazy dancers all night long!  If you missed the party this week - we’re back again March 1st and can’t wait to do it again!

The title says it all. What a perfect night from start to finish. When the beer is happy, how can the night be anything but amazing! Two Xmas parties, 2 trays of Jager shots, lots of friends, a full dance floor and of course... Jager Santa! We're always at our best when the crowd gives us that energy and they certainly did that. Many thanks to everyone for coming and to anyone that has come to a Donaleigh's show this year. Big hugs to April for taking some amazing photos. As always, a giant thank you to our fifth member of the band Steve. For a few years now Steve has always had our back making us sound perfect every night, he's a master behind the sound board. Many more thanks to the staff and management for taking such great care of us every time we are there. It's a privilege to play the Donaleigh's stage and we look forward to another great year in 2019.

Next up: We're back at the OVFH in Newmarket this Friday (December 21, 2018)

September 1st marked our first double-header as a band and it was a good one. Our afternoon was spent at the Port of Orillia for their first Port of Orillia Pirate Party. It was such a fun vibe playing under a gazebo to a harbour full of yachts and cruisers, and to all the festival goers hanging with us near the dock. Then after a couple of hours of downtime, we ditched the shorts and flip flops and went into full rock and roll mode for our evening at Donaleigh's. This Barrie venue is a treat to play as we always get tremendous energy from the crowd and we do our best to return it to them. We're at the Olde Village Freehouse in Newmarket on September 8th. Come join us if you can!

What an amazing night we had this past Friday at the Olde Village Free House. The crowd was on FIRE!  The place was packed to the rafters with a line up from 10pm to close. Everyone there was ready to party! As always, big shout outs to our friends and family members for attending as well as the awesome staff and security for keeping everyone safe. When the crowd is that pumped up and ready to go, it always fuels our performance and together we had an amazing night. Huge thanks to Janine Falcon for the great photos. We were glad to be back at the Olde Village Freehouse this past Friday.   Newmarket knows how to beat the sweltering heat of a summer's day - no better way than to party the night away at the O.V.!!  Big thanks to all our friends who came out to join us for dinner drinks and to rock the dancefloor!  The party started early and the floor was jammed until closing time!  Special thanks to the amazing staff and to Greg King (local professional events photographer) who came out to see us - he even snapped a few shots!
